The sun is rising...

Angel has been on the road for a while. Long drives and making her lonely way in the world are second nature to her. What's new is her growing thirst for blood and the distant threat of immortality. Now, morning brings more than just the light of a new day - with it comes a sense of dread that she just can't shake.

While contending with fears for her future, Angel has an unexpected encounter at a highway gas station with a fiery stranger caught up in her own troubles - and this chance encounter may just set Angel on a new path entirely.

This is such a cool little teaser that makes me really excited for the final product! There's such a cool tension between the relatively mundane drama going on and the fearful and foreboding narration of Angel's thoughts. And it gives you a real feel for these characters, and you can immediately see why they're both drawn to each other, both of them kind of lost and drifting for different reasons.

The art is also really fucking good! I especially love the little animated portraits, that adds so much to the dialogue scenes and I was so impressed to see that.

Thank you so much for your kind words!! I really appreciate it, and I'm looking forward to being able to share more of these characters with folks in the future.
